Ramblings of the scattered mind

Just like everyone else, I have problems.
Granted, they aren't the worst of problems, but they are problems nonetheless.

Problem #1: Money
I am not going to be receiving the Doyle Scholarship this upcoming school year of 09-10. Why? when I went to the scholarship office, I asked for the Doyle application but never got it and ended up applying to another scholarship in which I didn't receive any money from, either. It got so bad that my parents argued with the workers there and my mom got hung up on by one of the employees there because she was so persistent and they didn't want to deal with her: my mother is now trying to get her fired because,"The government shouldn't be employing and paying such a horrible person to hang up on people."
My father is, as of a few hours ago, unemployed. We are very concerned for our financial future. Enough said.

Problem #2: School
GPA Spring semester 2009: 3.37
Worst I've done in school ever.
Average GPA NEEDED for Math and Econ classes: 3.0
Average GPA I HAVE for Math and Econ classes: 2.0
GPA to transfer: Okay. GPA to transfer for my major: very much NOT OKAY.

Problem #3: Breakouts on my face
As shallow as it is, my forehead has never looked this horrible. I have red spots and scars from all the pimples and they just can't seem to stop coming no matter how many times I scrub it with my 3 different cleansers, 2 of them acne treatments. They're getting a littlebit better, but it's still horrible bumpy and disgusting. My self esteem is suffering greatly.

Problem #4: Not enough hours for work
Because of Problem #1, I want more hours at work. However, even though I got what I wanted this past week, I will not be getting the hours I need within the next few weeks. Why? The Fiscal year ended and now everything is fresh and that means less people and less hours. I'm not even going to go into deep detail about my troubles with work, but it is really obnoxious.

Problem #5: Stressed in general (caused by all problems above. It's a vicious cycle.)
School starts for me in 2 weeks. I have to be at school at 7 in the morning and don't get off until 12:15. Plus my online class. Plus homework time. Plus more hours at work. Plus finding time to spend with the boyfriend. Plus finding time to spend with friends. All this for 6 weeks. 11 units condensed into that short period of time is equivalent to 22 units worth of work. FML.

Things going right in my life...
-boyfriend
-seeing the New Moon trailer
-watching Up in theaters and realizing it'll be one of my favorite movies EVER.
...that really is it. I had to think about the last one really hard, too.

Everything will be over soon... but when that's all over, Fall semester will be just around the corner. And THAT will be just as awful as my summer semester, if not more so. *sighs* I can't see things getting better at this point other than my potential trip to Florence in Spring 2010... I just really hope it happens.
